The opportunity
01 · CONTEXT
Greenball manufactures and wholesales industrial, agricultural, and specialty tyres from Long Beach, California, with branches across five states. Its surveillance estate had aged badly.
Five outdated bullet cameras were providing neither the coverage nor the image quality required. A dome camera in the main office was misplaced for effective monitoring. Two Hikvision NVRs were producing an inefficient and unreliable recording system. Underneath it all, the network lacked the infrastructure, including a CAT6 run from dock to MDF, to carry the data properly.
The facility needed high-definition surveillance and the network to support it, installed and configured within five working days.
