The opportunity

01 · CONTEXT

Gursey Schneider operates across Century City, El Segundo, Encino, Irvine, and San Francisco. Each site had grown its own security posture, and each had a different gap.

Century City lacked access control and centralised monitoring. El Segundo had insufficient access management and no power resilience. Encino and Irvine had inadequate surveillance coverage and imprecise monitoring. San Francisco's surveillance infrastructure was simply not effective.

The common thread was exposure to unauthorised activity. The solution could not be a single template applied five times.

CLOSING NOTE

The gains came from refusing to standardise. Five assessments produced five different interventions, and the numbers held up across every site.
